The Sonoran Desert, a marvelous land with fascinating ecology, is the most biologically diverse desert in North America. It reaches from north of Phoenix Arizona to Sonora Mexico, and includes Baja, California and areas around the Sea of Cortez.
This desert has seen a seven fold explosion in population over the past 50 years, resulting in increased depletion of our fragile natural resources. SONORAN ADVENTURES primary objective, through its guided tours, environmental education and conservation efforts, is to educate the public about protecting this great land.
Sonoran Adventures employs qualified, medical trained outdoor professionals, naturalists and guides that are trained in wilderness ethics, leadership, teamwork, natural history, and technical skills. We are committed to offering the finest outdoor adventures in the world.

"SONORAN ADVENTURES" is a team of outdoor educators passionate about the conservation
and sustainable exploration of our natural world.
We offer unforgettable adventures, guided tours, outdoor leadership and environmental education throughout the majestic mountains, deserts, canyons and water ways of Southern Arizona and the Sonoran Desert.
As a result, we inspire personal growth, environmental preservation, and healthy connections to our Planet Earth.

Sustainability is defined as:
- Meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs (natural resources, clean water, air and food).
- Nature’s resources must only be used at a rate at which they can be replenished
naturally.
- We use human powered energy sources (hikes, bikes, kayaks etc…) on our
guided tours and outdoor programs rather than motorized vehicles whenever possible.
- We provide responsible travel to our wilderness areas with minimal impact.
- We promote and adhere to Leave no Trace Principles
- We give 1% of our gross sales to conservation efforts through the “1% for the Planet” Program
- We only employee qualified outdoor educators passionate about the conservation
and sustainable exploration of our natural world.
- We offer exceptional value to our clients with all programs and services.
